Blossom Tree Acupuncture

I received my masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in 2003 and completed my undergraduate degree from SUNY Stony Brook. I am licensed by the Texas State Medical Board and am a member of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, (NCCAOM). 

 

My formative years were spent growing up on Long Island and later working in NYC. Desiring a change from the east coast, I moved further west and chose to pursue Acupuncture school in Boulder, CO. Since graduating I've had several enriching professional experiences having maintained practices in several states including: Louisiana,  Montana and Michigan. I opened the doors of Blossom Tree Acupuncture to Dallas in the Spring of 2017.

As a nationally board certified acupuncturist, I have worked with patients of varying health conditions and in a variety of settings from private practice to in-patient hospital care.

 

My four year clinical masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture is from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado which included over 3,500 hours of comprehensive classroom and clinical training in both Eastern and Western Medicine.  Part of my clinical experience involved a specialized externship at Longmont Community Hospital in the Oncology Department. Serving the needs of oncology patients has a special place in my heart.

In May of 2017, I was fortunate to have completed a two year Clinical Integration course based in Five Element Acupuncture offered by Lonny Jarrett.

Classical Five Element Acupuncture is an ancient form of medicine that works by treating a person at the levels of the body, mind, heart and spirit.
