Blossom Tree Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an effective form of pain management and many conditions may be alleviated rapidly through acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. However, some conditions that have developed over a course of years and are chronic in nature will be relieved with slow, steady progress/improvement. As in any form of healing, the patient’s attitude, diet, determination and lifestyle will affect the outcome of a course of treatment.

Most people are pleasantly surprised to find that acupuncture does not hurt, and that the experience of receiving acupuncture is a relaxing experience. Patients often fall asleep on the massage table, or feel a deep sense of peace. It is normal to sometimes experience a heaviness or ache around the site of the needle insertion, this is called the “De Qi”sensation. This is when the qi or vital energy is accessed. However, reactions do vary from individual to individual and some experience acupuncture as completely painless to very sensitive, with most falling somewhere in the middle.
